Inspiron 5100 display Software Issue

I have a Dell Inspiron 5100 with windows XP and whenever i try to install my video card drivers it tells me that they arn't recodnizing the "VGA" driver. I have the 64mb ATI radion 9000 video card on it and have XP pro. All the drivers for the video card have returned errors about a necesary vga driver. If you have anything to help with this please add it.

Inspiron 5100
Pentium 4 2.6gh
Windows XP pro
ATI Radion 9000 64mb

I would really apriciate a reply to this as it is nearly immposible to accomplish anything without the video driver not working.

where did you get that video card did it come with your system or did you upgrade it

You should download the driver for that video card. Then download the new catylist driver or omega driver then mod it for your laptop using a mod software. I used dh modtool3. I forgot the  aexact link where i got it. but just google inspiron5100 and look for notebook forums and the link to this software should be there so then you should have the latest  drivers outthere
