Only the Pentium M will work - no Core Duo, Core 2 Duo or Core i. You are limited to the Pentium M 780 max (2.26/533).
There aren't that many EIDE SSDs out there but you should be able to use one.
Unless Dell shipped these with the resolution screen you want, you're not going to be able to upgrade - you can't use just any LCD in a notebook - you're limited to those models shipped by the manufacturer. Anything else won't work - or won't work well (you won't be able to control the brightness, etc.). If you do swap the screen be sure you replace the inverter as well.
