Inspiron 7110: Plugged in not charging

I've replaced the ac adapter 3 times and a new battery came today but the error persists.

I've just reinstalled the bios and run every diagnostic test recommend by Dell, no errors reported.

Aside from turning it into a frisky is there anything else I can try?

Is the AC adapter OEM Dell?  If it is, does it show with its power rating in setup (F2 at powerup) or does it show "unknown"?

If it's unknown and non-Dell (third party), replace it with an OEM adapter.  If that doesn't get it recognized, next is to replace the DC power jack:

... and if that doesn't get the adapter recognized, the mainboard is bad and will need to be replaced (though given the age of this system, you may be better off replacing the system instead).

Thanks ejn63, the AC is from Dell and it worked for a while, like the previous two. I'll try to get the DC jack repaired.
