Inspiron 7520 screen dimming issue
hi,
I am having trouble with screen dimming on my Inspiron. When plugged in I have the power set to maximum performance. I have been into the settings and switched the dim screen and turn off screen to never... however after about a minute or so the screen turns black, not off but just black... when I move the mouse or press a key it returns to normal....
What is this and how do I turn it off? it is really annoying!! I cant seem to find an option anywhere...

Hi Shakeystevo,
I suggest you to go to Power options, click on change power settings option and change the ‘turn off the display option’ to never.
Then I request you to uninstall old drivers by following the below steps:
(1) Click on start.
(2) Type Programs and Features in search box and hit enter.
(3) Programs and Features menu appears, now detect video drivers then right click on it and uninstall it.
(4) Then use the below link to update BIOS, chipset (Intel HM77) and video driver by choosing the right Operating system:
