If you have problems after installing the SSD, Dell would not help till the hard drive is reinstalled. You would need to get installation disks from Dell to do a fresh install on the SSD. You could also clone the OS onto the SSD with appropriate software. Don' t worry about bloatware. There isn't much and is easy to uninstall without residual problems.
