Inspiron 8000 CMOS battery

I have an Inspiron 8000 laptop with a dead CMOS battery. I ordered a replacement from Dell parts and it should be here in a couple of days. My question is, can someone tell me where the battery is located on the computer and what I need to disassemble to get to it? If you can help, I am pretty technical, so you can tell me in pretty general terms what to do.
