Inspiron 9100 - Unable to post - LED error code help
Hi,
The Post diagnostic codes posted in the general hardware FAQ are unavailable and i cannot figure what the code my laptop is spitting out means.
As i said it's an inspiron 9100 there is no os (but i can't even get it to post so that really doesn't matter)
After I power it on *(of the 3 leds) the ones on the outside blink in unison 9 times before it powers itself off.
Any help would be appriciated as my spare laptop is a gateway cx210x running vista. so i need more help than you can believe!! =)

Reseat the memory modules and verify that the AC adapter is OK (LED on before the notebook end is plugged in).
If the adapter LED isn't on, replace the adapter.
Otherwise, you've a faulty system board.
