Inspiron 9400 Temperatures
Hi guys, I'm not really sure where to post this, so I'm posting it here. My Inspiron 9400 has been running pretty hot. It reaches about 60C and the video card reaches about 70C when I play WoW. I'm already using I8kfanGUI and set my fans to high speed constantly, but I'm still getting these high temperatures. I'm currently idling at 52C and my GPU is at 60C. Is there any way to lower the temperature? My problem is even worse:
The I8kfan tool registered a GPU peak of 84 Celsius(WoW too). The only way to keep the temperatures lower during playing is running on battery then. The GPU seems to be clocked down then.
GPU:
-load: 84 Celsius, Fan at 3998 RPM
-idle: 63 Celsius, Fan at 2842 RMP
CPU:
- load 59 Celsius, Fan 3870 RPM
- idle: 38 Celsius, Fan 2422 RPM
CPU Temperatures seems OK.
In idle, meaning Windows XP, just the temperature application running, CPU load < 5%
Any help or advice will be highly appreciated.
