i have the same problem, i used to have dell N5010 and never had a bluetooth problem, now i have N5110 core i7 and i have a problem with the bluetooth device, i have downloaded the orginal driver from Dell drivers & support using my own service tag, the installation told my to activate my bluetooth using wireless button which is (Fn+F2) but nothing happened and then installation didnt complete as intended, i tried many web sites looking for solutions, i found a bluesoil software which was sucssefully installed but when i tried to run bluetooth it gave me a message ( Can not start the bluetooth device please try again ), this problem is making me feel bad about the whole Laptop, bluetooth is one of the most important things i need ................. please any one help me plz plz plz
It is annoying Bluetooth driver problem, bluetooth drivers from Dell site don't seem to work. I solved it recently, you need correct driver. Inspiron n5110 has Atheros wireless and bluetooth chipset. Download drivers from www.atheros.cz/atheros-wireless-download.php and install Bluetooth Suite. That worked for me.
i have problem with my bluetooth on my laptop dell n5110,,please tell me from where should i download my bluetooth drivers.........or both bluetooth + wifi drivers............thank you
i dunno but i might have a fix, if u get ubuntu http://www.ubuntu.com/ it has the drivers for just about any bluetooth device but it is different os and its linux so u guys might not want to try it
Before connecting and pairing, please download the latest Bluetooth drivers from Dell Drivers & Downloads enter your service tag number, then select your operating system. The Bluetooth drivers can be found under Networking
I downloaded the original Bluetooth drivers and tried to install them. During installation, it said 'Activate the Bluetooth' I turned off&on with the function key for connections and did nothing. I installed the WIDCOMM application in the folder of the driver with same result: Impossible to activate BT. The wifi works with no problem.

Could be provocated problem with QuickSet?
I tried the BT in Ubuntu and works fine.
