Intel My WiFi Technology
Hello,
Okay, I am having an issue getting this enabled.
When I try to enable this, a message will appear
(( Intel My WiFi Technology has been configured with a non-supported profile. Instead, the default profile will be used.))
I find no Profile and am unable to add one.
Any suggestions?
regards

Check the device manager - the network card model should be listed under "network adapters".

Go to:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intel\WirelessCommon
delete the two files ifrmewrk.exe & imfrmwrk.exe.
Next, re-install "intel proset wireless software" again without un-installing
from the three options(change, repair & remove) - select "repair"
after finishing installation don't forget to restart.

Could only delete one file ( ifrmewrk.exe)
I suppose i need turn of the wifi to delete the other> Is that correct?
Second question< I have another XPS 14 that the WiFi Technology works fine. However, when i try and connect a device to that computer it is asking for a password.
What mite that be???
