Interl PM55 Express Chipset LPC Interface Controller - 3B03
Hi,
I have an AlienWare M15x and I had to reinstall my pc after my HD left me :(.
After i reinstall all drivers i checked the hardware and i had the "PM55 Express Chipset LPC Interface Controller - 3B03" as Unknown device.
So i checked around and reinstall all the OS and followed the dell instruction for installing driver, same issues. Do i miss something?

Hi,
sorry for the late answer, i did a new reinstall of my laptop and install the driver you suggested.
Unfortunatly still a Unknown device for my OS... I give up after i tried averything possible.

Hi,
I have a simular situation. After reinstall windows (after update to new SSD) I discovered an unknown device related to Intel(R) PM55 Express. I ran the driverupdate R228043 (../support/drivers) without result. I tried to update manualy but it says no drivers found for this device.
unfortunately I already loaded most of the other drivers first before this one although the documentatation say to update this driver one of the first.
Is there somebody with a good suggestion to fix this?
