Internal mic not working
i purchased new InspironN5050 , while am trying voice chat interanal mic and speaker not working,
but wen i using listen to this device i can hear a sound from mic and while testing sound speaker also working. please help me?

Still no luck? Run some audio tests to check that the hardware is working. Sometimes the mic array connection becomes loose and you have to remove the bezel around the display screen to check it.
Dell Diagnostics audio tests.
PC Checkup
Both of these have mic tests.

Hi,
I recently upgraded my OS on my Dell Studio 1435 to Windows 7 Ultimate from Windows Vista Home Premium. However post this, I have been facing 2 problems -
1) Microphone is not detected. Under 'Recording Devices' it says 'Microphone not plugged in' although the laptop has inbuilt drivers. I checked drivers under Device Manager and it says Driver is up to date.
2) The video camera does not seem to be working either.
Help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Sir even after installing the drive iam unable to plug in mic and headset.please suggest me what to do Now.
