Internet troubles

Hey there guys,

First time question post here.

I've just invested in a new Inspiron 15R and I'm having some difficulty connecting to the internet. I've got a next to brand new BT homehub and not to blow my own trumpet but I'm a bit of a whizz tech and I've done all the usual diagnostics but to no avail. I've switched the lid to a flame pink one (don't judge :emotion-4:) that seemed thicker than what I had on previously, wondering if this could be blocking the WiFi signal?
