Keyboard Problem Inspiron 5100

I have a Dell Inspiron 5100 with a keyboard in Spanish which had been working great until this morning.

The "accent" key works but not properly: it displays (two) accents before displaying the vowel and not (one accent) above it.

I mean, instead of [ é ] it displays [ ´´e ]. The same happens with [ ^^ ] [ `` ] and [ ¨¨ ]

I reset the BIOS a while ago, but the problem persists.

Is it possible to change the configuration of a key?

I'd appreciate your help.

The language settings are correct.

Is there any other thing I should check?

ogarciam,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

Make sure that your regional settings are correct.  Click [Start] | Control Panel | Regional and Language Options.  Ensure that the settings are according to your geographic region.  You may also want to click the Advanced tab to make sure that this setting is also correct.
