Keys not typing right characters?
Some of the keys on my Inspiron E1505 laptop aren't responding right. For example every time I attemt to type an h I get "h7", g I get "g4", and almost all of my number keys and symbol keys do something additional or completley irrelevant as well. I figured it was something with the keyboard as I had spilt some stuff on it so I ordered a new keyboard from dell. Well I installed it properly and I'm still getting the same mistakes with the keys. Anyone know why this is?

I just had this problem with my desktop computer keyboard. There's a thread with detailed directions how to fix it in the "Desktops" forum under "General Hardware".
My solution was to correct the country / language / keyboard settings.
