Laptop M6400 Water Damage how do they fix it

I have an M6400 fully loaded that unfortunately for me was soaked by an open velux window. It was running on Battrey but of course now doesnt work.

I have dell accidental cover and wondered what the rpocess is for repairing this, As its water will they be able to repair it, or would they just gut it and send me it back with new insides.

I know ifs its POP or wine its corrosive but i was unsure how a totally soaked laptop with water only faired in a reapir market.

Its been away 3 days now im told 12 max, im just intreaged how they do this, The screen had condensation in it got so wet.

last time my daughter uses it whilst im away Kids i ask ya Bah Humbug
