Latitude 3450 touchpad issues
Anyone else find the touchpad on the Latitude 3450 to be a huge step backward from the 3440? 3440 touchpad has a solid feel with separate buttons. Works beautifully - responsive without being sensitive.
The 3450 is a button integrated overly touchy touchpad that feels like cheap plastic compared to the very solid 3440. I have played with all the settings and still get very erratic behavior from it.

Yes. I can't stand the touchpad on the Latitude 3450. I purchased the latitude 3450 because we had the L 3440's at work and it is a beautiful laptop. I wore the touchpad out - it worked so well. This touchpad is a piece of junk. Just laying my palms on the laptop so I can type causes erratic jumping around. This is only one of the issues I have with this laptop, but it is certainly in the top 3.
