Latitude 7350 battery "unknown" & mouse pad not working after battery ran low

Hello!

I have 2 problems that have happened before and after wiping the laptop and reinstalling W10 they go away. But when the battery runs out they come back after recharging.

Originally this machine was running 8.1 and these issues were not present.
I've gone into F5 and run the Pre-boot System Assessment and everything says it's fine? Confusing.

1. When booting up I get the message "Alert! The AC power adapter wattage and type cannot be determined. The battery may not charge. The system will adjust the performance to match the power available."

  • I select F2, go to Battery Information and the AC Adapter = Unknown.
  • The little light on my adapter is a solid white so it is in fact charging.

2. If I select F1 and go into the laptop ignoring the adapter warning the mouse pad does not work.

  • I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and still have the same problem.
  • I've also checked to see if it's locked, it's not.
  • I've tried plugging in a mouse and it doesn't work either, only touch screen

Like I said, if I wipe the computer and reinstall Windows 10 the laptop works fine in both laptop and tablet mode, but if the battery runs low and turns off these 2 issues come back.

Any ideas besides reinstalling w10?
