Latitude D420 - increase shared graphics memory from 8mb?

Hi all, apologies in advance for me being a newbie here!

I've bought a Dell D420, and upgraded the system ram from 512mb to 1536mb. I'm intending to have say 224mb of that set aside for the graphics chipset ( Intel 945GMA ). I assumed this would be changed in the BIOS. However, there is no option in the BIOS that I can see, only a greyed out display of System Information, in which I can't change any values.

I'm currently running Windows XP Pro SP3 although I imagine that makes no difference.

Any ideas? It's not the end of the world if I can't increase it from 8mb, but I'd much rather have a decent amount set aside.

Cheers!

The 8M is not the video RAM - it's a frame/Z buffer.  It's fixed.

The system will use up to the stated amount (probably 64 or 128M of the system RAM) depending on installed RAM and load - that's likewise not user adjustable.
