Latitude D620 Screen Resolution Defaults to 800 x 600.

I have a Latitude D620 running XP Pro that has the annoying habit of the screen resolution defaulting to 800 x 600 on quite a regular basis. This can happen either from shutting the system down and then restating or even from just closing the laptop screen and then reopening. The power option for closing the lid is 'do nothing'.

The display adaptor is a Nvida Quadro NVS 110M and the drivers seem to be the most up to date.

This is particularly annoying as each time it happens i have to rearrange my desktop icons.

Anyone know what may be causing this?
