Latitude D810 video playback issue using dcplusplus

Hardware: Dell Latitude D810 laptop

OS: Windows XP SP2

 

When DC++ v0.698 is running and connected to several hubs while downloading and uploading files --->

Video playback in common media players (latest version of Windows media player, RealPlayer, DivX Player) is not fluently: video plays several seconds and then stops very briefly and then resumes playback and then stops again etc.

 

This interrupted playback does not occur when playing the video on external hardware: Pinnacle Systems ShowCenter 200 which allows to play the video on a TV.

 

Stopping DC++ v0.698 solves the issue.

Seems to be a hardware related issue.

 

On a Gateway Solo2550 laptop (OS: Windows XP SP2) the issue does not occur.

 

Any help on a possible troubleshooting strategy would be greatly appreciated.
