Latitude E6400, sound is not work
no idea why, but sound not working was just given computer and am trying to fix, says no audio output device is installed, try to troubleshoot and it tells me to restart, restart and nothing, please help.

Hello. The first step is usually to install a fresh copy of the IDT audio driver. If you need help finding it please reply back and indicate which operating system is on the laptop. The operating systems that Dell supports on the E6400 are Windows XP, Vista, and 7.
