Latitude E6510 & Intel Graphics HD & OpenGL
Hello everyone,
I have a problem with my Latitude E6510 + Intel Graphics HD with OpenGL.
Using Driver 8.15.10.2182 from Dell, some programs that use 3D OpenGL not work properly.
I installed the video driver version 8.15.10.2321 from Intel and now almost all programs work, but some remain with black screen.
Launching "OpenGL Extension Viewer 3.35" I have been informed that the graphics card is compatible with the Intel HD OpenGL 3.0 only 82% (19/23 Core Features).
If not mistaken, the documentation of the Intel HD graphics built into the laptop is marked full compatibility with OpenGL 3.0.
It remains, therefore, only a video driver issue?
Thanks for any answer.

Are you running second generation CPU w/ Intel HD Graphics 3000/2000?
If you are not running second gen.(sandy bridge chipset) you are using Intel HD graphics which is OpenGL 2.1.

Hi dgkpcon,
no, the E6510 laptop has i5 vPro not second generation.
So the graphics card is an Intel HD Graphics.
In any case, the programs that I have work with the minimum version of OpenGL 2.0 ... and do not work.
Driver issue?
