I'm fairly sure if yoiu look up you service tag on Dell's site for downloads,if you look on the left side of page you'll find a heading for orginal configuration. Check there it should give you the item number for your display. Copy it down,then look the item number up on google or whatever,that should give you the size.If possible order that exact dell item number and you should get a drop in match to replace your shattered screen.
Hi. Thanks for the reply. The service tag apparently isn't valid. No matter, I've had extensive searches for part numbers etc etc. Dell don't make it easy. Just had to manually measure it and hope for the best.
