Left clicker button for touchpad does not work after milk spill
Some milk was spilled over the front of my laptop (Dell Inspiron 9300) in the evening on New Years day. It got on the touchpad and clicker buttons and some ran in the holes (groves) for the latches to close the laptop. I tried to wipe if off as best as possible. When I started it the next day (Monday) the touchpad worked but the left clicker button did not - then the touchpad and right clicker did not work. I noticed that when I had tapped on the touchpad or the right clicker button the blue light for the left clicker button had gone on and stayed on (this on the little diagram of the touchpad on the lower right side of the screen). I had to turn off the computer to rest it and then restart it a few times using the keypad to get rid of this. I inserted an appointment/business card under the left clicker button to clear anything out. Now the touchpad works normally as well as the right clicker but the left clicker button does not work. Can I fix this and how can I do it?
