Lost IDT high def audio driver when updating it (Inspiron N5110)

Win 7 Professional

64 bit

I updated drivers yesterday and now the IDT High Definition Audio driver is not even showing up in Device Manager. I have tried Dell site and, of course, it is telling me to buy a new machine. Tried free driver update packages and only the wrong drivers are showing up. I figure their drivers are too new for this system.

Can anyone provide a link to the driver that WILL work? Is it buried in the Dell site somewhere?

Thanks in advance!

Hello. Here is the IDT 6.10.0.6365 driver for the Inspiron 15R N5110 with Win7 32&64 bit. You can see all of the drivers that Dell supplied for your laptop on the Inspiron 15R N5110 html page.

I would suggest that you first use Windows System Restore. If you have a Restore Point dated from before yesterday you might be able to reverse whatever went wrong.
