Lost dell backup and recovery image...
Hey
anyone can tell me that how to get the backup and recovery image ,,, I have lost this recovery partition accidentally . I want to again get that back. My recovery disks are also damaged and unusable.... Help

If you're in warranty, and in the US, you can get them for free:
http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/software-os/w/microsoft_os/476.2-0-requesting-a-microsoft-windows-reinstallation-cddvd-from-dell.aspx
If you're out of warranty and/or out of the US, you'll need to call Dell - and there will be a charge for the media.

Thanks for ur support , but is there is no other way that I can get the original dell recovery partition ? will this will ok if I get the recovery dvd from my friend having the same model will this work ? can I restore the original image ?
