M1330 with Blank Screen

Hello Y'll.

I have a XPS M1330 with NVidia 8400M GS.
I started to have some problems with the screen, first of all I updated the driver and after the reboot my screen went blank starting when the BIOS loading up.

I've tried a lot of drivers but, every time, when I restart windows after installation (installation looks ok), my windows start in 4 bits of color and in 640x480, and I can't change the resolution or the color, using a external monitor of course, because with the LCD it´s impossible.

Even when I remove the device and rebbot the system, I got the same thing.
You guys have any idea wot should I do besides curse the Dell Corporation for do not provide warranty here in Brazil?
I hope I've made myself clear...

Thanks in advance.

What windows is yr notebook running?

Did you install the driver from support.dell.com?

When you manually run windows update ......do you see a MS update for this nvidia card as an optional update?

Here is the tech support info for Brazil, Im not sure what you mean by "do not provide warranty". We also have Dell Comunity Forums in Brazil.

Wot I meant by "Do not provide warranty in Brazil" is that I can't send the laptop to get assistance if the problem is Hardware...

I did talk to this Tech Support and they told me that this laptop DOESN'T have a "Local Warranty" and it's not cover here in Brazil.
But the funny thing is:
They are selling on the website....
So, I'm working on the BIOS version and the nvidia driver version combination to see if I can get any luck.
But something new is that when I press Fn + F8 to see on an external monitor the only resolution that I can get is a 640*420 4 Bits.

Well, let's see wot will happen for now on...
