M4700 max speed msata SSD
I cannot seem to vind any information on the interface of the msata WWAN slot of my m4700. If possibble i would like to install a samsung 850 EVO msata but i do not know if this is compatible at max speed of sata600 or compatible at all.

The Samsung 850 EVO mSATA is compatible with the M4700. I have one installed as additional storage on my M4700.
When I set the eeprom to boot on the "Through" setting it found the new drive fine. The laptop did not find or recognize the new drive booting with "Minimal" in Post Behavior / Fastboot. After I configured the drive I changed my setting back to Minimal and have had no problems.
I don't know the interface on the M4700. Booting with Samsung mSATA does work very well if you use the Samsung Rapid mode, even with a slower interface.
My eeprom firmware is at A14.
