Max Resolution possible for D530
i have a Latitude D530 and the max resolution i am getting now is 1024 X 768 pixels..
how can i increase my resolutions. the Support Tech stated that this is the max available resolution and i will have to live with it !!! .....
any pointers

Yes, I have the same problem with the "standard" D530 display. This should be a universal problem, as the specifications of the display are the worst of any Latitude and less than most Inspirons. Unfortunately, I didn't look at the specification until I had the problem. Also had the LCD and motherboard replaced, but they are not the problem. The laptop is working to specification, but the specification is terrible. Even for simple word processing or email the text is unacceptable. Dell should not be selling this display on any of their laptops. I'm trying to have the problem resolved, but Dell has yet to accept that a problem exists.
