Media Direct Blu-Ray Update??? or Cyberlink PowerDVD Ultra?

Question

I've seen that some folks have had success with Media Direct and Blu-Ray movies...not me.  I installed Nero 8 with the blu-ray plug-in and have had limited success with that...will not play some disks, will play others.   My media direct says that it doesn't need an update.  Is there a trick to getting an blu-ray update that anyone knows.   Media Direct is a Cyberlink developed product and they have PowerDVD Ultra, but, aside from not wanting to spend more than I have to, the user reviews on NewEgg are not exactly encouraging...   http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1681565108SF    Feedback appreciated! Hi I have been using Poverdvd forever and never have any problem with it. I do have the ultra and it works fine. You have more setting control with it.  in another thread someone pointed out that it allowed him/her to get HD on the vga out. I can confirm that its true but I have never tried the vga with media direct.

I could only get about half my blu-ray movies to work in Media Direct but all worked fine in PowerDVD Ultra.
