I am not sure what you mean by "stereo mixer". Your model has IDT audio. If the IDT audio driver is installed then on the Recording tab of the Sound properties you should be able to see your recording sources.
If you mean "stereo mix", IDT audio does not have have a recording source by that name. The Dell laptops with Sigmatel audio and Realtek do have a recording source named "stereo mix". On models with IDT audio, "Rec Playback" serves a similar function. Some models with IDT audio have an IDT audio control that is in addition to the Sound properties.
