Multiple_IRP_Complete_Requests

a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
Here's the error string.
0x00000044 0x890543F0 0x000000D62 0x00000000 0x00000000

Inspiron E1705 running winxp media center edition.

I dumped all the trialware that came with this machine and installed my favorite apps.
I haven't been able to narrow down what is the triggering event.
Can anyone advise?

You can try System restore (ctrl +F11, during POST). You will have to back up the data because it will be erased and will revert back to factory configuration. This will work if you haven't reformatted your HD or reinstalled the OS yet.

I have the exact same issue. I have a dell inspiron e1505 (very similar to the e1705) and Soon after getting it i would get very infrequent BSODs. Now the Blue Screen of Deaths have become very frequent and seem entirly random. I have run a very thorough RAM check and my hardware seems fine. It must be drivers but I have no clue which ones. I get the following message on the BSOD:

MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS

***STOP: 0x00000044 (0x89613DC0, 0x00000D62, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

Almost the same. I'm am at a loss here, any ideas? Have you been able to fix this problem, are other inspiron e1505/e1705's having this problem. I haven't changed my system much. I uninstalled a few things like the dell jukebox and stuff like that, and added a few other programs. But mostly my computer is still pretty bare. This issue didn't seem to start after any particular installation. Help...
