If your surfing the internet, sometimes a random, hidden browser window will open up and it'll play music.

See if that helps.

Hi Zantell,

I understand that it is very annoying to get unwanted noise from the computer. Please check for any software which may have been installed on the computer to clone dvd’s such as Alcohol120, Clone DVD. Alternatively try the steps mentioned below:

  1. Click on Start -> Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Autoplay.
  2. Scroll down and check for any particular actions mentioned when a device connects and is associated to Windows media player.
  3. Change it to ‘Take no action”
  4. Click on ‘Save’

The issue can also be with flash add-ons in Internet Explorer. Disabling the flash add-ons can also resolve the issue. Though Internet Explorer does not open up on the screen, it may continue running in the background in the taskbar, which may cause the issue. Here are the steps to disable flash add-ons.

We are doing this step to check whether this particular program is causing this issue.

  1. Open Internet Explorer and click "Tools" -- it's the gear wheel icon in the upper right corner of the browser -- and choose "Internet Options".
  2. Click the Programs tab and click the "Manage add-ons" button.
  3. Scroll down in the right pane until you see "Shockwave Flash Object" Select the entry, click the "Disable" button, and then click "Close"
  4. Click "OK"
  5. Close Internet Explorer and open it again.
  6. Restart the computer and check for the functionality.

Note: You can re-enable Flash at any time by following the preceding instructions and clicking the "Enable" instead of the "Disable" button in Step 3

Also check for the program named ‘I WANT THIS’ and uninstall it. To uninstall the program,

  1. Click on Start ->Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features
  2. From the list look for program named ‘I WANT THIS’.
  3. Right click and choose ‘Uninstall’
  4. Restart the computer and check for functionality.

Do write back for further questions.
