My DVD burner is not recognized
I just purchased a DELL Latitude E5540. When I want to burn a DVD it gives me this message.
“No burner is currently available or you don’t have rights to access the burner”
How do I get the burner to work?

Please use the link below to troubleshoot the issue with the DVD drive. The link is for Windows 7 operating system but you can try the same for Windows 8 operating system.

I followed the suggestions in the recommended link and executed the diagnostics, it found nothing wrong. I also updated the BIOS software. But I still get the same <ADMIN NOTE: Substitute character removed as per TOU>
