NVIDIA Driver installation problems...PLEASE HELP!

Has anybody had a problem where you are trying to install an update for a graphics card and during installation an error message shows up that says "Cannot find supported device drivers. Setup will now exit."? I've tried using different versions of the driver but it still doesnt work.  I have an Inspiron 9300 with a Geforce Go 6800. If anybody knows any way to fix this PLEASE HELP!!!

If you tried to install a driver you downloaded from the Nvidia website you will get that error.  You have to install your graphic drivers from Dell here: GeForceGo 6800

Could try the omega drivers. They have solved that problem for me.

I'm alittle confused about which driver I can update to beside the recent Dell one.  First, aren't the ones they have at omegadrivers out of date, they say they're 66.93 and the Dell is 78.11?  Also, people suggest you can get a modded one from either laptopvideo2go or tweakrus, but I dunno which to choose or what would work with my 9300.  I would appreciate some light into this subject, thanks.

Here are the directions on how to install the latest drivers from nVidia's site.

1.Download the latest drivers fromNVidia's site and save them to desktop.

2.Click start right click my computer select manage then device manager then click the + on display adaptors then right click on NVidia and choose update driver.

3. The hardware update wizard will open select the third option (No Not this time) then next. Select the second option (Install from a list or specific location)  Then click next then select the last option ( Don't search.I will choose the driver to install.) Then click next. Then click have disc button a install from disc box will open leave it open and double click the drivers icon on desktop then click run accept the terms and agreement and click next . The path will be highlighted copy then paste in install from disc box then click ok then next. At this point A update Driver warning will apear. (Don't worry just select yes to cotinue ) The Drivers will install select finish then you will be prompt to restart do so .

Happy Gaming and enjoy the latest Drivers
