NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M - 1GB Win 7 64 bit - HDMI has no sound

When I connect the laptop N5110, purchased April 2011, to the 6 month old Panasonic TV using HDMI cable, the TV receives video fine but no sound. The windows help says not all HDMI enabled video cards support audio. A work around is I can also hook up the headphone socket to the amplifier of the sound system but it is a messy solution.

Does this HDMI enabled video card support sound?
