NVIDIA Graphics Question?

Hello

I just bought Dell Inspiron 1520 and I need to ask

In the receipt & after I check the system configuration it shows that this laptop has NVIDIA® GeForce 8600M GT

Video Graphics with 256MB GDDR2 dedicated graphics memory.

But when I turn on the laptop it shows in the computer system & Device Manager only Standard VGA graphics Adapter!

What that’s mean? And in component shows 3D business and gaming graphics performance?

Plus this details:

Graphics

I can’t find any thing at all shows NVIDIA® GeForce 8600M GT

It means one of two things:

Either you haven't installed the video driver, or

Since this is one of nVidia's "lemon" chips, the card may have failed - it's very common.
