Netbook GPU question? Intel NM10 Express vs Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150
I need to get a netbook that has amazing battery life and can play youtube videos basically flawlessly. Hi-Def is not a concern to me, i just want to be able to play a basic low quality youtube video flawlessly. I was wondering what is the difference between the NM10 and the 3150? Which one is better and how big if the difference? I am trying to pinch pennies here because I have a very limited budget. I have found a dell and an acer on sale but it has a 3150 GPU and not the NM10 I can't find benchmarks or information anywhere on whether it can play youtube videos flawlessly and what exactly the differences are thanks. I would like to maybe play some ancient flat games too if possible. I don't really need to know of any models I just need to know the difference Thanks. Is it worth 50 more dollars to get the NM10 Express instead of the GMA 3150? I did not know it was possible to NOT have NM10Express on the N450 processor because I thought it was integrated in? Yeah I am basically confused urgent help please, I will be placing the order before tuesday.

They're about the same, graphics-performance wise. Intel integrated the GPU into the CPU, which did two things, one technical and one political. The technical reduced the power consumption. The political made nVidia's survival in this market harder, since nVidia cannot integrate the GPU into the CPU, which gives Intel a large cost advantage over nVidia.
