New Inspiron 15R 5521 having hard drive issue

Hi Dell Team,

 

I have purchased Dell Inspiron 15R 5521 last week which was delivered on 23rd of Aug. After couple of days started getting unknown disc error. I have talked to Dell customer support and test diagnostic utility and it has found that hard drive need to replace.

This is completely unacceptable, machine is not even 1 week old and need to replace part. Customer support said they will replace hard drive in next 2-3 days.

I want to know if get replacement machine, then will I get brand new machine or refurbish. I don't believe even after Hard drive replacement it will go long way.

Please suggest.
