hello dears,
i am using dell Studio XPS 1340. now i install Window XP i have a problem in sound driver?

Hello. Windows XP does not have a native HD audio driver like Vista and 7 do, so after you install XP you must install the manufacturer's (IDT) audio driver to have sound, and it must be installed in the correct order of installation**. However, there is not an IDT XP audio driver for the Studio XPS 1340. Suggest you install a different operating system or use an external sound card.
** The correct order is:
a. Dell Notebook System Software (on your downloads page expand the System Utilities category). Download, install and restart.
b. Intel Mobile Chipset software (expand the Chipset category). Download, install and restart.
