New battery for Inspiron 1440.
Hi,
I have a inspiron 1440 (5 years old) with Windows 7 OS. I had bought it with 9-cell battery, which is completely non-functional now. I am planning to buy a new battery and adapter compatible with my system. I was going through "compuindia.com", however unable to confirm which battery & adapter is compatible with my system.
Kindly let me know compatible batteries and adapters for the system.

Hi Ashu,
The compatible adapters for inspiron 1440 are 63W and 90W and the compatibile battery are 4-cell(32 WHr),6-cell(48 WHr) and 9-cell(85 WHr) lithium-ion.
