Notebook with PCI express!!!!

Question

When do you think the first notebookss with pci express will come out? i'm planning getting a new notebook for college but i think i'll wait for pci express. so anyone have any idea's????

Not to sound snobby, but think about what your asking. The PCI express is made for cards that work with desktops. Why would someone need to plug a card into a laptop with all the USB2.0 devices available today? However, I think it will be a long time before manufactures implement any kind of new pipeline with PCIe speeds. So go ahead and get your notebook for school....

I'm sure PCI express will come to notebooks eventually,  I just don't think this will happen anytime soon.   I'd go ahead and buy now if you need a laptop right away.

Probably in the next 3 - 6 months. Given the ZERO performance increase that it has given desktops initially, the main purpose will be to serve the "Mine's Bigger" requirement.
