Please help...System32 problems

Question

I get the following  2 messages when I start up the computer 1) 'C\WINDOWS\system32\ddccc.exe cannot access the specified device, path or file.  You may not have permission to access file'.  Next one is similar, ' cannot load or run C\WINDOWS\system32\ddccc.exe specified in the registry.  Make sure the file exists on your computer or remove the reference to it in the registry.'  Before this started happening, computer was acting strange - video clips kept popping up, strange ads for malware software, warnings that may computer may be infected with spyware and to scan now (which I did not - I immediately closed all windows when this was happening)  I was able to install Spyware Terminator, Ccleaner and AVG Virus ware which I ran all 3 & now the pop ups are gone.  My 'utilities' are also gone out of my programs which is strange but I can access them through the 'help & support' area.  Also, I have tried to restore the computer and system restore will not complete itself.  I have ordered the reinstall CD's from Dell for Windows but I do not want to wipe the hard drive if I can help it.   Any help would be most appreciated... Lisa

ddccc.exe is malware.  It appears that the cleaners that you used didn't clean up the entire system and you have some remnants left over.   I would suggest going to the HijackThis forum to get some expert help in cleaning your system. Read the instructions carefully at the top of the forum and follow them. They are very good over there.
