Ricky_1604's statement is incorrect. RGBLED and WLED displays are not the same thing. If I were you, I would call Dell (or chat with their sales department) to confirm that they have your order correct. I just ordered the Studio XPS 16 with the RGBLED display a few days ago and when I look at the order in my account, this is what appears for the display: "16.0 inch Wide Screen 16:9 1080p Full HD RGBLED LCD, W/2.0 MP, XPS 1645". I would assume yours should say the same thing.
I just got out of a chat with order support, and they told me it is the same thing. Twice, in fact. Although the fact that your account actually says that doesn't put my mind at ease. Though I've really got to question how the order would go into their system and change the purchased display like that. I'm going to assume they have a better way of putting the computer together than looking at the account order, that hardly tells specifics. I'll try chat again later, hopefully get someone different.
I have exactly the same issue. While ordering online I made sure I select RGBLED which was infact an upgrade (paid extra $$). In the Order Confirmation email it states this part correctly with "RGBLED" word. But now when I go and look at the items on online order, it shows "320-8335 Premium FHD WLED Display, Obsidian Black, 2.0 MP Webcam". When I called Dell, the sales-rep told me the "Premium" word indicates RGBLED (as compared to "Std" for regular WLED). He had no answer when I asked why is it described as "WLED" as in White-LED instead of Red-Green-Blue LED display.
My understanding was display "HD+ Widescreen 15.6 inch WLED LCD (1600x900) W/2.0 MP" is for "Std WLED" and display "Full HD Widescreen 15.6 inch WLED LCD (1920x1080) W/2.0 MP" is for "Premium WLED" title.
Any of you have any more information on this? Or any more confirmations on if it is the same display?
I also have the screen mixup problem. Can any of you verify that they received the right screen ? I here several contrasting answers by dell employees...
EDIT: Laptop received and there's only 1mm border between the metal hinges and the screen, also the Device manager says my hardware ID of the monitor is SEC5448 which is what many claim to be the RGB. I'm going to post a picture of the screen so you can compare.

Hi,
I'm in kinda the same boat, I've been trying to buy a Studio XPS 16 system, but there's no more RGB option with the i7 processor.
The problem is that looks like the combination of the i7 processor and the RGB, heats up the laptop a lot, and that might damage your processor.
So for now they only have the WLED option. Now my question is:
Is it worth to pay almost 2000 for the Studio 16 XPS i7 720 processor, 8GB RAM, etc, but with a WLED LCD?
How much different is it than the RGB?
Anyone?
