Power Button
Hi,
I have a Dell Vostro 5470, and over the past few days Its been really difficult to switch on my laptop. Sometimes I have to press many times for it to switch on, as though it's by luck.
I think it may be a connectivity issue with the power button.
Your help is appreciated thanks

If the button isn't making contact (i.e., it doesn't depress), the palmrest assembly needs replacement.
If the button does press down but the system fails to boot reliably, chances are it's the mainboard that needs too be replaced.
