Power cord

I have searched the parts area and the software & peripherals, and cannot find a replacement power cord for my Inspiron 600m.  I even e-mailed support and they sent me back to the paged I had already searched.  On the cord it says part # 8Y114.   My cat thought it would taste good.  now my battery is dead.  Also any suggestions for getting candle wax out from under the keys?  honestly no joke.

well for 20-30 bucks you can probably just get a new keyboard from dell (when you call to order your battery) and replace it yourself.

you just want a cord or is your power brick (adapter) dead too, I think they just sell the cord/brick combo.

I need them both.  the power cord and brick.  Do you know who I would need to go to find out the order # for the key bord?

Call Dell Spare Parts (number below) to order.  The wax could be cleaned off with a lot of work and care.  The power cord that was chewed - is it the one to the wall from the brick or the one to the notebook?  If the wall, you can get just that by calling.  If the other, that could be repaired easily and insulated again.  The AC cord would be about $8 and the brick side would be about $30.  Fixing the brick wire would be a friendly gesture by a tech.

Thank you so much!  I had such a hard time even finding out who to call.
