PowerPoint Remote Control

I have an Inspiron 8200 and I do a lot of Power Point presentations.  It would really help if I had a remote control so I don't have to be at the podium to change to the next slide.  The Customer Service Rep told me Dell doesn't have a remote for Power Point.  Does anyone have any ideas as to where I could find one?

Thanks a lot,

    Julie

In other words, you are looking for a cordless pointing device. You can go to Dell Software & Peripherals > Projectors > Pointers/Remotes and look for one. You can also get the same product from any one of the other websites that sell them for much cheaper prices, such as www.provantage.com

Probably not looking for just a pointing device.  I think she needs to advance slides.
The best on the market are Interlink.  Check out the RemotePoint Navigator and the RemotePoint Presenter.  Look in the retail products section.  These remotes can be purchased at many online dealers, including Provantage, as well as some CompUSA stores and such.

I can provide you with a contact at Interlink if you like.

Hi TD,

I wrote a "thanks a lot" message to you, but I don't see it anywhere so this may be a dupe.  Either way, you made my life so much easier that I want to say thanks twice!

Have a nice weekend,
