Pre boot system assessment error
I cant turn my laptop on past the dell splash thing so i ran the assessment like another forum said and i got an error so here i am.
Error code 2000-01 42
Validation 68052
Msg: hard drive 0 - S/N W0VC1TJN, short self test unsuccessful
Help would be amazing right now because i kind of need my laptop for a lecture in the morning

Your hard drive has failed. If the system is under warranty, call Dell with the exact error code and validation number and they'll replace the drive.
If the system is out of warranty, please provide the system model number and someone can assist you in choosing a replacement hard drive.
