Precision M4600 Windows option (7 vs. 10)

Hi all,

Recently I got a very good condition M4600 laptop which seems to be an incredible machine!

However it came with Windows 10 which is not exactly my favorite.. After fiddling with the drivers I managed to get both graphic cards (intel & nvidia) - even the Brightness adjustment via registry edit.

Had some trouble with the USB 3.0 but got a compatible driver and I still have 2 unknown devices (probably the fingerprint & fall sensor?) but all in all working!

With all this I still feel it's sluggish - takes long to boot (after disabling startup items), touchpad feels sluggish..

I like the clean looks of Win10 but it feels like it's doing a lot in the background..

So what would you recommend? I have to option to switch back to Win7 (clean install..) and my Lenovo All-in-one runs Win7, has half the configuration of the M4600 and yet so much responsive??

Is Win7 a better option for the M4600? (seeing all drivers available for it?)
